The utilization of formal and retro elements such as line weight distribution and serifs were done in order to develop a low-res bitmap font that can be implemented in primarily playful settings.
Primary characteristics include the portions of its counters, flags, and stems behaving geometrically while the other aspect erring on the side of asymmetry. Kettlebell has an X-height of 7 pixels and ascenders and descenders at 6 pixels. This font works best as a display or decorative typeface considering it's low resolution style.
